Hey friends! Today we are going to wrap up my 'Skincare in Your' series! We are going to discuss Your Best Skin as your skin matures.  When we hit 50's+, this is the time to treat our skin very gentle and delicately. It is important to take time to complete our night routine.. and less is more!

Facial Oils will be your BEST FRIEND!


In your 50s+, your skin starts to loose collagen and may seem more saggy than before. This is due to Menopause - this hormonal change causes the collagen in your skin to decline and your skin to feel more drier. So it important to MOISTURIZE! I recommend using oil's, such as: argan oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, or rosemary oil. These oils mimic our own sebum (oil) production so they work more effective with our skin. These essential oils are also high an antioxidants that help to soothe and fight free radical damage!







1. Bi-weekly exfoliant! - As we age our skin cell turnover starts to slow down.. this makes fine lines and wrinkles seem more prominent. It is important to use a gentle enzyme facial exfoliant. Gentle enzyme exfoliants help to exfoliate the skin without providing scratches and scars on your skin! I recommend to exfoliate the skin twice a week.. Shop the perfect exfoliant here!


2. Best Face Plumper serum! - Now more than ever it is important to use Vitamin C, collagen, and amino acids on your skin. This serum will give you a beautiful luminous glow and will give the skin youthful glow! Shop this serum here!

3. Anti-Aging moisturizer! - Using a night cream helps to keep the skin hydrated and firm! Your skin does most of it's repair at night, so now is the time in your 50's+ to most definitely use night cream! I recommend using one with Retinol, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. 4. Plump the fine lines around the lips! - As we age we may notice fine lines and wrinkles around the lips.. so it is important to keep the lips and the skin around it hydrate! As we hit our 50's+ the skin starts to break down, we loose collagen, elastin, and hydration in our skin. Now is the time to treat the skin with the most hydrating and plumping products. Remember facial oils are your best friend, even if your skin seems to be a little oily.. Apply night cream at night - this will allow your skin to look more plump and youthful when you wake up in the morning! Don't skip your sunscreen and apply all of your face products to your neck as well!!
