Hey friends! Welcome back to my blog.

Today's blog post is going to answer a frequently asked question:

Do I Really NEED Eye Cream??

The simple answer: Yes! Eye cream is very beneficial because it is formulated to treat the thin, sensitive skin around our eye area. First we need to understand that the skin around the eyes is the thinnest - because of that, it is easier for it to break down causing the look of fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles. Eye cream can target and treat these common concerns and have your eyes looking well rested, hydrated, and bright.

So excited to share all things eye cream. I'm going to share the best eye creams that will treat different concerns such as, dark circles, puffiness, dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles. All of my recommendations are ophthalmologist tested and are safe for your eyes.

Puffiness, and Dark Circles - Clinique All About Eyes, Origins GinZing Eye Cream

What causes Dark Circles??? - Dark circles can caused by genes and can be hereditary. They also can be caused by UV sun exposure, lack of sleep, or even allergies. Also there are more blood vessels under our eyes and the visibility of them can make our eye area seem darker.

Clinique All About Eyes is a staple eye cream that treats three main concerns: puffiness, dark circles, and hydration. It's cream - gel consistency applies so well and it is effortless to blend it into the skin. It refreshes and brightens the eye area almost instantly. This is a 360 eye cream, which means you an use it on your eyelids as well. Also it can be used morning and night. It retails for $33. Shop here

Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream is one of my favorites because it effectively brightens the eye area in one application and also helps to depuff the eye skin as well. If you feel like you look tired or had a long day this eye cream is a nice pick up! It is formulated with coffee beans and ginseng to make it look like you've had a full nights sleep (when you know you haven't). Perfect eye cream for the morning. It retails for $32. Shop here.

Fine Lines, Crow's Feet, Wrinkles and Mature Eye Skin
L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Eye Balm and Murad Renewing Eye Cream

What is Crow's Feet??? - Crow's Feet is a term we use to describe fine lines/wrinkles that are at the corner of our eyes. It looks like a Crow's Foot.

L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Eye Balm is a nourishing, thick, eye cream that targets mature eye skin with fine lines and wrinkles. It deeply hydrates the skin around the eye area and helps to fight against visible signs of aging. This balm easily hydrates the skin and also helps with puffiness. It's one of my favorites luxurious eye products. You can use it morning and night. It retails for $95. Shop here

Murad Renewing Eye Cream is an amazing eye cream for the mature eye skin. It is an anti aging eye treatment that targets DEEP fine lines, wrinkles, and crows feet, as well as hydrates the eye area. This patent-pending eye cream acts effectively in plumping the aging/tired eye. I love this stuff. It retails for $82. Shop here.

Quick Eye Relief/Hydration- Clinique Pep - Start Eye Cream, Philosophy Hydra-Bounce Eye Gel

Why do I need to hydrate the skin around my eyes?? - The eye area is the first to show signs of aging. The skin is thinner so it easier to break down and not stay hydrated as long as the skin on the rest of our face.

Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream instantly brightens and depuffs the skin around the eyes. You feel refreshed and awake with one swipe. It's super quick to apply this eye cream in the morning effortlessly, without a mirror. It retails for $27.50 Shop here.

Philosophy Hydra-Bounce Eye Gel - LOVE this eye cream! Perfect for hydrating the skin around the eyes. It also targets dark circles and puffiness for an added bonus. I love the gel consistency because it feels cool and refreshing - perfect for tired eyes. It retails for $24 Shop here.

To sum it up, YES! In my professional opinion - I recommend everyone to use eye cream. Men and Women. Eye cream is specifically designs to help treat and hydrate the skin around the eyes. It is ophthalmologist tested and will benefit the eye skin much more than just moisturizer alone.

- Sharing my favorite eye cream for MEN here: Clinique for Men Anti-Age Eye Cream, designed to help treat the eye skin for MEN. It effectively depuffs, hydrates, and decreases the look of dark circles. -
