I don't usually post on Sunday's, but with everything that's going on (pandemic wise) I thought it would be fun to add some bonus skin care info. I've been posting my 'SKIN SINS' on Sundays over on my Instagram account: @aleithiawilbert. Feel free to follow if you don't already! 






I got this idea from Pinterest, but basically SKIN SINS are common mistakes/misteps that we do in skin care. I'm going to share those common misconceptions and explain why or why not we should do them.

So WHY NOT St. Ives Apricot Scrub?

Most St. Ives Facial Scrubs contains crushed walnut shell as an exfoliant ingredient. This is really harsh on the surface skin and cause micro-scars/tears in the skin that can lead to skin irritation and even infection. 

When you apply other products after using the scrub it can lead to a tingling/burning sensation. Think of it as small paper cuts all over your face. It doesn't feel good.


Long term effects can include, surface skin irritation, rash, dry patches, and even infection. 












If you enjoy the feel of the St. Ives Apricot Scrub but no longer want to include in your skin care routine, I recommend the
